Each year, the Revelation recognizes a young talent selected among second-year students at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains.
The winner receives prize money of €5,000, a filmed portrait broadcast on the Arte website and the ADAGP YouTube channel, and an exhibition of their work at ADAGP.
The Revelation is awarded in partnership with Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains.
Le Fresnoy - Studio national des arts contemporains is an institution for training, production and artistic, audiovisual and digital dissemination. The objective of the National Studio is to enable young creators from all over the world to produce works with professional technical means and in a broad decompartmentalization of the various means of expression. The field of work, both theoretical and practical, is that of all audiovisual languages on traditional, silver and electronic media (photography, cinema and video) as well as on those of digital creation.
The production of the projects is placed under the direction of recognised artists, who themselves carry out a personal project in which the young creators are involved.
The production of works is extended by an ambitious dissemination policy: exhibitions, cinema and various events follow one another and explore, throughout the year, the challenges of contemporary creation.
Who can apply for this prize?
This prize is aimed at second-year students who have produced digital works and videos presented at the Panorama Exhibition.
