Data relating to members
Personal data transmitted by artists or rightholders as part of their membership is processed by ADAGP solely for the purpose of carrying out its legal and statutory missions.
This data is exclusively intended for ADAGP teams, collective management bodies established in and outside the European Union with which ADAGP has concluded a representation agreement (sister societies), and legally competent fiscal, social, and financial bodies.
For the purposes of rights management, ADAGP publishes the list of authors in its repertoire on its website, namely the author's name and surname (or, where applicable, their pseudonym), their years of birth and death, and the types of rights managed by ADAGP.
Subject to legal obligations, particularly fiscal obligations, requiring the retention of certain information for a longer period, the data collected by ADAGP is kept for the duration of the membership, extended if necessary, in accordance with Articles 6 and 48 of the statutes, until the expiry of the current exploitation authorisations.
Data related to mailing lists
The personal data collected in the context of registration to ADAGP's mailing lists are used solely for the purpose of sending ADAGP information letters related to its activities. For mailing lists not directly linked to the management of rights entrusted to ADAGP (e.g., event invitations), it is possible to unsubscribe at any time.
This data is exclusively intended for ADAGP services. It is kept for the duration of the subscription to the mailing list.
Data relating to users
Personal data transmitted by users in the context of online authorisation requests and the payment of online authorisations is processed by ADAGP solely for the purpose of managing the aforementioned requests, collecting copyright royalties due to members, and ensuring user relationship follow-up, invoicing, and accounting.
This data is collected to enable ADAGP to fulfil its legal and statutory missions and is exclusively intended for ADAGP teams and legally competent fiscal, social, and financial bodies.
Subject to legal obligations, particularly fiscal obligations, requiring the retention of certain information for a longer period, the data collected by ADAGP is kept for the duration of the user relationship and for 5 years thereafter (except for applicable provisions in case of litigation). However, bank card details provided during the payment of online authorisations are not retained beyond the transaction.
Your rights
In accordance with current legislation, you may access your data, have it rectified, request its erasure, or exercise your right to the limitation of the processing of your data. Where applicable, you may withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your data at any time.
You may also exercise your right to data portability. To exercise these rights or for any questions regarding the processing of your data, you can contact the Data Protection Officer by postal delivery (ADAGP – Délégué à la protection des données, 11 rue Duguay-Trouin, 75006 Paris), e-mail, or telephone (+33 (0)1 43 59 09 79).
Any complaint relating to the processing of personal data implemented by ADAGP may be addressed to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
