The Connexion France grant supports French cultural venues in the realisation of an international co-production project, or the restaging of exhibitions of artists from the French scene abroad. Two €15,000 grants are awarded each year.
How much is the grant?
The Connexion France grants is awarded to two recipients who will each receive €15,000.
Who can apply?
French public or private non-profit cultural venues with a permanent exhibition space (museums, art centres, FRACs, artist-run spaces, etc. — festivals without permanent spaces must demonstrate at least five years of existence) that are preparing the exhibition of an artist from the French scene in co-production, or which will restage the exhibition in one or more non-profit artistic venues abroad.
For what kind of project?
- Monographic or group exhibitions of artists from the French scene (who have been living or working in France for at least five years, or are French nationals living abroad), in any discipline of the visual arts (architecture, comics, digital creation, design, illustration, manga, painting, photography, sculpture, street art, video art, etc.).
- Exhibitions must be produced within two years of the grant being awarded.
