The ADAGP and the 170,000 visual artists it represents wish to congratulate Mr Franck Riester on his appointment as French Minister of Culture and Communication.

The ADAGP is launching the first edition of annual grants worth €30,000 to financially support venues in materialising international co-production projects or helping artists of the French scene exhibit abroad.

The ADAGP’S Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 18 October. The partners were asked to vote on the transparency report, adopt the general policies and appoint the auditors. They also elected the new board of directors for a period of 3 years.

For several years, ADAGP has been encouraging and supporting emerging creation with the ADAGP Revelations. The third edition of the Urban Art Revelation closes the 2018 season of annual revelations.

The Revelation "Youth Book" of the ADAGP was created this year in partnership with the Charter of authors and youth books illustrators.

For the fourth consecutive year, the ADAGP is partnering with the Le Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts, in Tourcoing France, to reward an emerging artist in the Digital Art – Video Art category.

ADAGP and Quai des Bulles, the Comic Festival of Saint-Malo, are joining for the third year around the Revelation of the ADAGP / Quai des Bulles which aims to promote and develop encourage the work of young comic writers

The ADAGP and Multiple Art Days (MAD), an annual event devoted to contemporary art editions, are joining forces for the third year around the Revelation Artist's Book award, which is designed to promote and reveal the contemporary creation in the artistic discipline of artist’s books.

The second ADAGP - Villa Vassilieff grant will allow Liv Schulman to realize her project of writing and making a film that will tell a story of feminist art.
