Each year, ADAGP grants €15,000 to the Étant donnés programme to enable American institutions to exhibit the work of French artists in the United States.
Étant donnés Contemporary Art is a Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation programme. It aims to strengthen ties between France and the United States by fostering active collaboration and encouraging long-term partnerships between French visual artists, curators, and collectives, and American curators and institutions.
The programme supports the discovery of young talent while continuing to support established artists.
