Each year, ADAGP grants €15,000 to the Étant donnés programme to enable American institutions to exhibit the work of French artists in the United States.
Étant donnés Contemporary Art is a Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation programme. It aims to strengthen ties between France and the United States by fostering active collaboration and encouraging long-term partnerships between French visual artists, curators, and collectives, and American curators and institutions.
The programme supports the discovery of young talent while continuing to support established artists.

Applications must concern an individual or group exhibition project, specific commissions or research commissions, in physical or online spaces, and presenting French artists or institutions.
