The Visual Arts Revelation rewards the work of an emerging artist exhibiting at the Salon de Montrouge.
The winner will receive a grant of €5,000, a filmed portrait broadcast on the Arte website, inclusion in the Biennale of Young European Creation, and an exhibition of the artist’s work at ADAGP.
The Revelation is awarded in partnership with the Salon de Montrouge.
Since 1955, through its successive editions, the Salon de Montrouge has marked the city's commitment to the discovery of generations of new talent. During this national event, the municipality of Montrouge puts into action its desire to give young artists the opportunity and the means to meet the public and to build bridges with professionals, gallery owners, art critics and collectors. All facets of this professionalization are explored: critical support, production assistance, auctions and exhibitions, etc.
As an integral part of Montrouge's heritage, the Salon de Montrouge transmits its artistic message to a wide audience, affirming the permanence and strength of the city's position in favour of contemporary art.
