Call for applications - Revelation Children’s Book 2021
The ADAGP "Children’s Book" Revelation was created in partnership with La Charte des auteurs et illustrateurs jeunesse in order to promote and encourage the work of emerging creators, working or residing in France.
A sum of 5,000 euros, a portrait filmed and broadcast on the Arte website as well as a dedicated presentation on the walls of the ADAGP constitute the endowment of this prize.
The pre-selection
In June 2021, a preselection committee made up of a La Charte author and a bookseller will select 15 authors, meeting the following eligibility criteria:
• full author on the selected book (drawing + texts);
• working or living in France;
• having professionally published 3 albums maximum;
• including at least one between June 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021 (to be sent in pdf).
To apply, simply send, in pdf format, the file consisting of the following documents:
- the completed registration form
- A CV
- A bibliography
- The PDF of the book submitted for the award
before May 24, 2021 to: projets@la-charte.fr

At the end of this pre-selection, a jury made up of artists, journalists and professionals will nominate the winner this summer.
