2020 General Meeting : the results
On Thursday, October 15, the ADAGP general assembly brought together members for a meeting which, for the first time, was held in small numbers in the auditorium and by videoconference for other members.
Christian Jaccart, Président of ADAGP, and Marie-Anne Ferry-Fall, Managing director of ADAGP, presented the highlights of the company's 2019-2020 activity as well as key figures relating to management of royalties, repertoire and cultural action.
More than 190,000 artists represented
ADAGP welcomed 992 new members between June 1, 2019 and May 31, 2020.
In addition to its 14,500 direct members, ADAGP manages the rights of 166,000 authors who are members of sister societies abroad and 15,600 photographers via 19 agencies under contract with ADAGP, i.e. more than 196,000 to date. living authors or estates.
Almost 41.8 million euros in duties collected in 2019 (-1.3%)
In terms of rights management, the 2019 financial year is down slightly since the overall amount of collections amounted to 41.8 million euros (down 1.3% compared to 2018). This development is nonetheless a good result since 2018 had benefited from an exceptional collection of nearly five million euros in collective rights from abroad.
Resale rights rose 2.4% to reach € 15.9 million in 2019. Reproduction rights fell 3.2% to € 17.4 million while rights reproduction increases by 10% in 2019 (from 8 million euros in 2018 to 8.8 million in 2019).
The sums distributed in 2019 amount to 34.1 million euros and the management fee levy rate remains stable at 12.8%.
Finally, 1.8 million euros were allocated as part of the ADAGP cultural action in 2019.

As a result, the transparency report (consisting of the activity report, the management report and the report on cultural action) is approved.
