In order to improve the dissemination of ADAGP artists’ work and to support them in the publication of a monograph or catalogue raisonné, ADAGP awards ten €15,000 grants as part of the Collection Monographie grant.

How much is the grant?
Ten recipients will receive the Collection Monographie grant, amounting to €15,000 each.
Who can apply?
- Artists and rights holders who have been ADAGP members for at least three years (joined by 1st July 2023). If the monograph concerns an artist collective, each member of the collective must have been an ADAGP member for at least three years;
- Artists or artist collectives must have at least ten years of professional experience (exhibitions, participation in fairs, etc.);
- The publication project must be submitted in partnership with a publisher, an art centre, or a gallery;
- Publishers that require artists to waive their rights are not eligible.
For what kind of books?
- The publication must be a monograph on the artist (an ambitious work, covering at least ten years of their career and intended as a reference book) or a catalogue raisonné. It cannot be an exhibition catalogue;
- The publication must be tied to an event (exhibition in a gallery or art centre, book signing, symposium, etc.);
- The publication must be released within two years the grant being awarded;
- A minimum print run of 500 copies.
What are the application requirements?
The application must be submitted in French. The process is available on ADAGP’s application platform.
