STRADA grant - call for applications 2020

This aid aims to create a territorial dynamic thanks to artists traditionally evolving in very concentrated urban environments. By supporting a festival project in a city of less than 50,000 inhabitants, the STRADA grant participates in the deployment of urban arts outside the usual territories of artistic creation.

What is the endowment of the grant?

This grant, endowed with € 4,000, is broken down as follows:

2,000 € to the organizing association of the festival

2,000 € to the artist or the collective of artists

This amount will be paid to the organizing association of the festival.

Who can apply?

Non-profit associations which organize a recent urban art festival in France (outside Ile de France). The association will apply for the project of an artist or a collective from the French scene (who lives and works in France), which it wishes to present at its festival.

For what type of festival?

An urban art festival of less than 10 years held in towns with fewer than 50,000 inhabitants in France (except Ile de France). The festival must be linked to the territory.

What are the application procedures?

The organizing body must send the complete, typed application, recorded in a single document in pdf format, in French and only electronically to the following address: strada@adagp.fr including the following elements:

Synthetic presentation of the structure (status, date of creation, its missions, its programming…) in maximum 1 page;

Synthetic presentation of the event (description of the festival, its programming, its objectives, its theme, etc.) in a maximum of 1 page accompanied by the list of artists exhibited;

Certification on the honor of the festival director that the event is less than 10 years old;

Note of intent from the director of the organizing structure on the project with the artist or the urban art collective (1 page maximum) with ten visuals from the artist or the invited collective;

The detailed budget indicating expenses and the financing plan (with quantified financial contributions from the various partners and indicating the amounts acquired and in progress).

• Launch of the call for applications: October 19, 2020

• Deadline for sending files: January 29, 2021 at 2 p.m.
