PAULINE TOYER - Winner of the Residency Cité Internationale des Arts x ADAGP

Because the circulation of artists, their research and their practices is essential to the revival of artistic and cultural life, ADAGP and the Cité internationale des arts have joined forces to set up a new support system: a three months residency, a professional support for an artist from the French scene and based outside the Ile de France.

For this first edition, the jury was made up of Bénédicte Alliot (director of the Cité internationale des arts), Marc Bembekoff (director of La Galerie, contemporary art center of Noisy-Le-Sec) and Rebecca Digne (artist) . It chose, from among 89 applications received, that of:

Born in 1987 and graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure d'Art de Bourges, Pauline Toyer lives and works in Cormeray (Loir-et-Cher). A visual artist, she has participated in several personal and group exhibitions, notably at the Second Bureau in Bordeaux (2016), at the Ateliers Canard (Center Val-de-Loire, 2019), and most recently at the Z.A.N. The residency will take place at the Cité internationale des arts (site of the Marais) from January to the end of March 2022. The winner will benefit from a life grant of 1,250 euros per month, professional support and networking with all the artists and professionals in residence at the Cité.
