"Collection Monographie" grant: the 10 winners 2020

ADAGP supports artists at every stage of their professional career. The "Monograph Collection" grants thus support them at a pivotal moment: the publication of a first work devoted to their works.

 

 

The "Monograph Collection" grants are open to all visual artists who have been members of ADAGP for at least three years. This year, the grant awarded by the jury will benefit monographs of artists from different artistic backgrounds: comics, drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, videos, etc.

After an in-depth study of the 81 applications for the 2020 edition, the jury composed of François Boisrond (artist), Muriel Bonicel (Librairie Tschann), Elizabeth Garouste (artist), Aude Lavigne (journalist) and Chiara Parisi (Director of the Center Pompidou Metz), has selected the following ten winners:

 

     -  Julien AUDEBERT, book project with Mousse Publishing (Italy).

     - Eric BAUDELAIRE, book project with Paraguay Press.

     - Maurice CALKA, book project with Albin Michel editions.

Provisional publication date: September 2021

     - Stéphane CALAIS, book project with Gilles Drouault gallery.

Provisional publication date: June 2021

     - Jagna CIUCHTA, book project with the Pernod Ricard Foundation.

Provisional publication date: October 2021

     - Jean-Paul JUNGMANN, work project being defined.

Provisional publication date: end of 2022

     - Kapwani KIWANGA, book project with JRP Editions (Switzerland).

Provisional publication date: June 2021

     - Marion SCEMAMA, book project with the Maïa Muller gallery.

Provisional publication date: 2022

     - Barthélémy TOGUO, book project with Paradox editions.

Provisional publication date: March 2021

     - Marion VERBOOM, book project with Dilecta editions.

Provisional publication date: during 2021

 

Each of the winners will receive a grant for € 15,000 to help finance the work and will be invited to participate in the FILAF (International Festival of Art Book and Film in Perpignan) in June 2021 in the presence of the jury.
