CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2019 COMICS REVELATION
The ADAGP and Quai des Bulles promote and encourage the work of young comics artists.
Applying deadline : 31 May 2019.
The ADAGP Comics Revelation, in partnership with Quai des Bulles festival aims to encourage the work of comics artists.
The prize is 5,000 euros and a profile filmed and shown on the Arte website.
The selection
In June 2019, a jury made up of Quai de Bulles organisers and professionals will select ten artists who meet the following eligibility criteria:
• sole author of the selected book (drawing + scenario);
• working or living in Europe and Switzerland;
• having published a maximum of 3 albums professionally;
• with at least one of these published between 1 June 2018 and 31 May 2019.
To apply, simply send us the book(s) meeting these criteria before 31 May 2019!
Following the selection, a jury made up of artists, journalist and professionals will choose the overall winner.
The winner will be honoured at this year’s Quai des Bulles festival 2019.
