[CALL FOR APPLICATION] COLLECTION MONOGRAPHIE 2020
To promote the dissemination of artists' work at each stage of their lives, ADAGP has devised a scholarship program to support them in particular in this major stage, which is the publication of a first monograph. Application deadline: September 30, 2020 2 p.m.
The Collection Monographie grants help support artists in the major stage of publishing their first monograph. Such a work is an essential tool for the dissemination of an artist's work, but it is an approach whose cost is often an obstacle.
Ten grants, amounting to € 15,000 each, will help finance the first monographic work of artists members of ADAGP. The whole repertoire of society can participate (plastic arts, comics, design, photography, sculpture ...).
Who can apply?
Artists must have at least 10 years of professional career (exhibitions, participation in fairs…),
Be a member of ADAGP for at least 3 years,
The publication project must be presented by the artist or his heirs in association with a publisher, an art center or a gallery.
For what type of work?
The publication must relate to the artist’s first monograph (reference work, ambitious for the artist, covering at least 10 years of work) or a reasoned catalog. It is not an exhibition catalog.
