ADAGP / Quai des Bulles Revelation : the 2018 pre-selection

The ADAGP / Quai des Bulles Revelation aims to highlight and encourage the work of young comic book authors.

It rewards a complete author (script + drawing), working or residing in Europe and Switzerland, who published a maximum of three albums, including one between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018.
On June 14, the pre-selection committee selected the following authors:

A grant of 5.000 euros (without condition of use) and a portrait filmed and diffused on the site of Arte, constitutes the endowment of this price.

- Lucas Harari pour L’aimant (Sarbacane)

- Iwan Lépingle pour Akkinen - Zone toxique (Sarbacane)

- Jérôme Dubois pour Tes yeux ont vu (Cornélius)

- Elizabeth Holleville pour L’été fantôme (Glénat)

- Linnea Sterte pour In-Humus (La Cerise)

- Pauline Aubry pour Les descendants ou l’appel de la pampa (Les arènes)

- Aniss El Hamouri pour Comme un frisson (Vide Cocagne)

- Cécile Bidault pour L’écorce des choses (Warum)

- Pedro Stoïchita pour Le trésor mathématique de Polybius (Polystyrène)

- Victor Lejeune pour Premier pas (Atrabile)

 

At the end of the selection, a jury of professionals co-chaired by the artists Philippe Ramette and Elizabeth Garouste, and composed of Pili Munoz (director of the Maison des auteurs d'Angoulême), Etienne Davodeau (author), Néjib (author and laureate 2016), Robin Cousin (author and laureate 2017), and Jean-Christophe Ogier (BD journalist), will nominate the grand prize winner.

The winner will be celebrated during the next Quai des Bulles festival, which will take place on October 12th, 13th and 14th, 2018 and during the ADAGP Revelations evening, organized at Centquatre - Paris, in January 2019.
