SACD and ADAGP sign an agreement with Molotov TV

24 Mar 2021

Molotov, SACD and ADAGP have reached a tripartite agreement for the remuneration of authors of works broadcast on TV channels distributed via all services of the leading OTT platform in France.

This agreement takes full account of the weight of SACD (cinema, fiction, animation) and ADAGP (graphic, visual and photographic artworks) in the specific offer Molotov has put on the market as a television program distributor. The company’s innovative service is based on a “freemium” model, i.e., free access to DTT channels, combined with subscriptions to paid channels and services.

This agreement covers exploitation of works on Molotov since the launch of the platform in July 2016 until the end of 2022.
