ADAGP missions are :

Collect and distribute royalties
ADAGP's main mission is to collect and distribute its members' royalties (resale rights, reproduction, performance and exhibition rights, collective rights).

Defending artists
ADAGP intervenes with public authorities and institutions in France and abroad to defend copyright, and informs artists about their rights.

Cultural and Social Action
ADAGP provides material support to authors through its cultural action: prizes, grants, residencies and financial support.
Collection and distribution of royalties

ADAGP is in charge of managing all aspects involved in collecting royalties on behalf of its members, including delivery of authorizations, invoicing, reminder notices, enforcement of claims, etc.
Defending artists
In order to defend the rights of artists at the national level, as well as the international level, ADAGP advocates for the rights of artists with the public authorities and institutions. The organization has significantly contributed to establishing social protection for artists and extending the droit de suite throughout Europe.
As such, ADAGP is a member of several organizations and institutions involved in defending artists’ rights, including the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), which brings together more than 200 societies of authors from all the artistic fields.
