CALL FOR APPLICATIONS – 2018 URBAN ART REVELATION

Launch of the 3rd edition of Urban Art Revelation, in partnership with the Palais de Tokyo. You have until Tuesday 30 July to submit your application.

This Revelation is aimed at creators of urban art at the start of their career. They must be aged over 18 on the date of the application, live or work in Europe (European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland), have recently been displayed work in a public space and have works that are still visible. The winner will have their work shown at the Palais de Tokyo as part of the Lasco Project and will receive a prize of 5,000 euros (2,000 euros’ remuneration and 3000 euros to fund their work for display at the Palais de Tokyo). A profile of the winner filmed by Arte will be shown on their website.

The jury, chaired by artists Philippe Ramette and Elizabeth Garouste, will feature: the artist Ernest Pignon Ernest, President of the Palais de Tokyo Jean de Loisy, and Nicolas Gzeley (Editor-in-Chief of Stuart magazine). The rapporteur is Hugo Vitrani.

Jury deliberations: 5 October 2018

Announcement of the winner: 5 October 2018

Exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo as part of Lasco Project  #11 or #12, which will take place in late 2018 or in 2019.
